Running stock Spare Tire with oversized tires? Will It do damage?

Hey guys, just curious what I should do if I get a flat tire on one of my 33" Toyos. My stock spare is 32" tall. Will it damage anything If I drive with two different sized tires on the truck?

Now I was thinking that it would be fine if the spare was put on the front and the truck was in 2wheel drive.

However, I think that having the spare on the back with the larger tire on one side might do some damage to the rear differential.

What do you guys think, or suggest?

It shouldn't hurt. Treat it like it's a dummy tire and get your original fixed asap.

Yup. The LSD will think the truck is turning because one wheel is spinning faster than the other. This will cause the clutches to *slip* causing increased & unwanted wear on the clutch packs.

hmmm...

I had a flat coming from reno and it snowed; couldn't drive at all in slipery conditions. I have 33 tires and spare is 245/75 not f150 I had to go back and just get my tire repaired. I couldn't figure out why it was that bad but now that you mention the limited slip, that might be it. In slipery condition with way different tires could that cause me to go all over the road. Once I got lower to no snow no problem, or the following day with all same tires was fine. I blamed it on different tire brand never thought of differential.
