dodge dynasty drove up my rear...

add, me to the list of those who get rear ended by stupid people, this guy was late delivering Pizza, I stoppted at a yield sign, because the lane I had to merge into was full of trafic, and wam....I'm surprised his car was driveable, minus the grill, left, right head lights and a pancaked front bumper, My hitch tock the impact, but the right bumper bracket on my truck is toasted, bent/bucked in half, bumper it self is ok....This is after I had to call road side assiatnce to bost me because I left my batt boster at home...Finaly I can get my truck in this Thursday to have Ford deal with my electrical issue's ..off to the body shop as well...and the RRSS still works..

I'm from farther south than you, that's not an excuse!

FYI, for insurance purposes you might not want to mention to his insurance company that he was delivering pizza. I have yet to see a pizza delivery guy that is actually insured for "commercial use" of their vehicle.

It is a question asked by every insurance company before they write the policy and it will give them a reason to deny the claim.

Sorry to hear about your truck. Waaay back in college I had a 91 S-10 that was rear ended three times. The first time was a mid-80's Ford pickup, the second was a '56 Ford pickup, and the third was another mid-80's Ford pickup. I think Fords hated that truck!

I was gassing up my bike yesterday and some dumba$$ backs out of a parking spot and into my bike (Sukuki SV-650S). It knocked the bike over, almost knocked me over, and spilled gasoline all over the ground. I was pissed, but if I had been on the other side of the bike the moron would have hit me instead of the bike. No major damage though.

I have commercial insurance, full coverage on my truck, I have tacked people befor who only had PL/PD Public liability/damage, this time my insurance company can earn thier $1400.00 a year(CDN)..I'm glad no one was injured...what P......Me off is my $500.00 deductible, As I was not at fault, am I corect to asume I do not have to pay a deductible?

maybe 2 hours work to pull off the bracket's/bumper and install a right bumper bracket and the black plastic trim around the bumper..tail gate opens fine and thiers no body damage, even the rear reverse sensing system still works, none of the sensors were damaged.

I'm still surprised at how hard I was hit to bend the R bracket...Pizza boy sheared the ball on my hitch right off...and the pin holding the receaver hitch is still ok...

I hope you all stay safe..
