Also, I know ya'll with N-fab's love them and love to post pics of them, but I am not a fan. Sorry!
Those are the 5" bars. They came installed on the truck with the chrome package. But, I had the exact same bars on my 04 SCrew, which I bought and then sold on eBay for about $300

Awesome Erick_e, thanks! I think those are probably the ones I am going to end up going with. I'll have to check e-bay. 300 is a heck of a deal for those.

A couple of other questions for you if you don't mind:

How do you like them? How well is the finish holding up (against rust, rock chips, etc), and how easy are they to install? Do they just bolt right to the frame?

Actually I've been thinking about trading up to the Harley edition in the spring, don't know about the full time 4x4 though (only about 5300# towing).

They came already installed on my truck when new, list for an extra $599.00 but the dealer gave them to me for $400.00. So far they still look like new, including the mounting brackets. They are very strong; I'm lovin em so far.

Here are the Westin Chrome plated stainless steel. (platinun series). These are about the best finish you can buy. Most retail stores will charge you $399 for these. There is a store on ebay that you can get them for around $320 shipped I believe. What I also like about them is that they mount nice and high underneath the doors, which maintains that high ground clearance and stops door dings.

Firedancer, I just installed the OEM chrome 5" oval nerf bars on my supercrew over the weekend. Install was easy, real easy. The holes are already there on the truck. All you do is slide on some clips, mount the brackets to the truck, then mount the nerf bar to the bracket & torque all bolts to 22 ft lbs. It might have taken me 30 min. Piece of cake.
