Anyone have aftermarket wheels on a stock suspension 2wd?

Looking for some ideas, not sure I want to mess with the lifting of the front end, although I may change my mind .

This is what I was planning on doing as well, don't really want to put the leveling kit on my truck. The wheel size isn't really what you have to worry about though (although backspacing is important to how far the wheels will stick out past stock). If you put a 22" wheel on with tires = height to stock then you will be okTire Size Calculator use that to calculate tire sizes, very helpful tool. I'm planning on going to a little bit bigger tire than stock, but not much. What size wheels are you planning on? And do you want a street tire or an all terrain or off road tire?

I am running 20x8.5 American Racing RT-S wheels with 285/50/20 tires with no problems.

My wife is running the Roush Wheels 20x8.5 with 275/55/20 tires on hers no problems.

Off topic but I just wanted to say that the 2004+ regular cab trucks really look nice. They sort of have a "stocky" look like a bulldog.

Personally I needed a rear seat so I got a Scab but it was the regular cabs that first got me looking at the new Ford trucks.

I was thinking about some 17" Eagle alloys like a lot of guys have on here, and maybe just a little taller/wider street tire. Its an STX Scab.

What size tires are you running?

Looking at your truck is making me reconsider getting a set of autosprings...now I kind of want a shackle drop!

Sweet ride man.
