Bill, want to save 55 bucks??? I just took a quick look at THIS WEB SITE to check their price. If you enter the word "factory" (no quotes) into the promotion code box, the price drops to 495.00 and free shipping.

I've bought quite a few items from these folks. They are easy to deal with. I actually bought a set of these mirrors from them a year or so ago and returned them because I thought they would stick out to far.....now I wish I would have kept them.

As far as being small, this are a horse, they weight over 10 lbs each..

F150Truck'in; could you do me a huge favor??? About a year ago, I ordered a set of those mirrors. I did not install them and I shipped them back because my measurements kept indicating that these stuck out a lot farther than the OEM mirrors. But now that I see them on your ride, they look pretty darn good!

Could you measure how far the mirror sticks out from the vehicle at is farthest point from the window with the mirror retracted all the way. Maybe hold the tape perpendicular to the window and measure to the bottom tip of the mirror? (Is the 17.5 inches shown above the measurement to the window glass??)

Thanks!!

Looks great. I'm jealous. I am in the process of trying to do a power mirror add-on to my truck.

BTW, what part of Chesterfield are you in? I am near the courthouse.

What do you guys think???
F150Truck'in, I've got a question for you... I installed these about a year ago (at that point, they weren't OEM, I got them thru Schafenacker)... Anyway, do yours have the clearance light option? Mine have the option, but the factory wiring harness doesn't have the needed wire. So the instructions say I'd have to fish an additional wire from the mirrors into the cab (which I didn't & don't want to d9). Just wondering if they changed that now that they are a OEM option. So is there now a new harness that includes the running lights??? Thanks...

Yes you have to run the wire for the clearance light, if you want to.its a option.
its not hard to do and it hook into the solid brown wire at the light switch...all the rest is in the plug witch is the same as factory so it plug right in.....

Thanks for the info... Looks like they are the exact ones I have.

Just FYI to anyone considering getting these --> As F150Truck'in stated, these mirrors are -----W--I--D--E---! It is especially noticable when driving or parking in a parking lot, or when trying to squeeze into that small right-hand lane to turn right, when everyone else is going straight... But they are awesome at what they're designed for - towing!!!

I do wish they had designed them more like the Superduty mirrors, with the convex spotter on the bottom instead of on the side of the main mirror. They could have minimized how far they stick out when they're retracted.
