lifting a 2wd ( not what you think)
Seriously, WTF is the problem with lifting a 2wd? I have one, and I think mine looks just as good as any lifted 4x4.
The way I am, I baby my truck too much. If I had a 4x4 I bet you I would have not had a need to put it in 4wd once in the year and 2 months that I have owned it. With that said I asked myself when i was buying my truck do I really want a 4x4, do I really need one? My response was why bother, its just one more thing to worry about having problems with. I really liked the look of lifted new body style F-150's, so that was why I decided to lift mine. I have taken it off-road once or twice and it has done just fine. In my opinion I dont see any problem with lifting a 2wd.

What would everybody say about putting a Saleen body kit and appearance package on a V6 Mustang? Most would call it a joke, or a waste, or rice because it didn't have the ***** to back up the looks and the owner was trying to pretend his car was something his car wasn't (I am not saying that but those would probably be a lot of the comments posted). NO matter if the the guy just wanted the car to look good and never intended to go over 65MPH...and his insurance was cheaper....and the car was cheaper...and his insurance is cheaper....it wouldnt matter he would get ***** for it. IMO lifting a 2wd is the exact same thing.
But like people have set its your truck and do what you like...I just find it rather disappointing when I see a good looking lifted truck and then find out its a 2wd.
(EDIT: above I was not talking about making a Saleen cloan, just adding the Saleen body pieces to it to make it look like a Saleen. Not him claiming it was actually a Saleen)
