Tuff - What brand of grill insert did you previously have? That's exactly what I'm looking for.

 

I like the look - but I'm thinking I'd like to see a bit of black along the lower edge - just to break up the silver a bit....wonder how it would look if you reinstalled the tow hooks - is the Harley fascia availble with tow hook openings?

Anyway keep up the good work your truck is looking sweet. I just installed the '06 Harley grille on my '05 black Lariat this weekend and (IMO) it looks nice on my black Lariat with chrome bumper....I was torn between my Carriageworks billet grille and matching bumper grille as I like that look a lot too - but I think the Harley grille is going to be the keeper. Nice surprise that it came with the black painted surround so I didn't have to swap or paint surrounds or anything - just bolted right up!!

Will the HD Valence fit an 04/05 bumper, or just the 06? What's involved in the install? Looks like a great mod!

I've got an 04, will the hood need any mods if I were to put on the 06 front bumper and the HD valance? And are the fog lights optional?

I'm not too much of a fog light fan myself.

 

No mods need on the hood, and yes you can get the bumper w/o fog lights

hey tuff, the 06 bumper, does it come with the foglights? Ive got a price on the bumper, but the guy is not sure that it comes with them. Do you need all the brackets that you listed for the bumper or will the current ones fit? I read the thread and didnt get a direct answer. Im thinking the final $417 was the total price for bumper, fogs, brackets, etc? Preciate the help.

 

Tuff, I know this was directed at you and I apologize for intruding here, but I thought I'd help clear up bluehose's questions as well.

bluehose, to go to the 06 bumper, you will need new everything, except your lower valance. That will re-install on the 06 with no problems. However, I had the tow hook valance and wanted the 4X2 valance hence the reason it's listed in the parts list below. Also you're existing foglight bulbs/harnesses will work on the 06 as well. Below is what I paid a few months back. Some of the prices may have gone up or come down. The total is for parts only and does not include shipping charges. No need to guess on this stuff, ask anything you need as we have done this already.

Hey Bro, that question was for me LOL JK.. Well you were the original person that helped me with all the part #'s I never did get that last part (not sure if you have it listed) I think it holds the hood latch and supports the bumper cover? I know you had listed the part #, did you get yours? and what exactly does it hold, do?
