Can you get some better pics of the tails? I'm just not seeing much difference between stock and HD...

Already did the06 bumper swap w/ the HD valance, will try to post some pix saturday once she's all washed up. FX&EX did you figure out what the part number is for the support that holds the hood release? Please let me know.
BTW your truck keeps getting better and better

Thanks bud.

Anyone seen any posted pics of a 'side by side' with Harley tail versus Stock tail?

Here is the difference Stock vs Harley

here is stock

here is the oem harley

the last 2 or the oem harley taillights. Not the best pictures in the world, but there ok. Side by side there is all of the difference in the world. The harley taillights are very nice.

wow that bumper isn't painted? geese that looks perfect. hmm, well I still can't do this harley conversion. I couldn't afford to change the front and rear bumper and then pay to have them painted.

Indiana is right, they are a remarkable difference from stock. That's about as good a picture as can be for online. For the price, about 26 a piece, you can't go wrong.

Indiana-red4x4,
Do you have pics of your truck when you had the harley headlights on. Ive been thinking of those, but wanted to see them on a red truck. My truck has more black on the front than yours does though. Might flow better!! Also, is that a dodge 4x4 on your tailgate?

FX4&EXC,
Truck looks good. What are you going to do with your time after you run out of things to do with your truck though? Shouldn't be long now..

hmfic, thanks for the compliment! You're about right on running out of things, but I'm sure I'll find more! Still have some things to do, the harley lower valance, paintwork on the bumper, wheels, some stereo stuff, and maybe suspension and blower. It'll never end I hope! This is too much fun.

Looks great FX&E. I got a set of the Harley tails and tried taking pictures to show the difference, but couldn't get good enough pics to contrast them. Like everyone else said they just really look good, I was very surprised how much better they look. Would have been nice if something was done with the 3rd brake light to match them. I got one coming in the mail to play around with.

Hey scorp, thanks! Glad you like those tail lamps too, I agree, hard to photograph differences. I agree, also, something has to be done with that brake light. Any luck on a rear bumper yet?

FX&E, no dice yet on a rear bumper. I check ebay every few days and nothing has come up lately. Car-parts has 3 pages of them but the good ones go for $300+. I have a number for guy in TX who tells e he can do it for under $200 shipped if nothing else comes up by spring, I'll call him up. I've got a laundry list of things I'd like to do: level kit, XLT console, FX gauges, wet okoles, rear sway bar as well as the bumpers. Still waiting for a good day to put the black bumper on to see if it looks ok in black or will need to be painted to match truck. Like you said, no matter how close you come to being done, you find yourself wanting to do more.
