HD Grille+local dealer=on crack

I called my local Ford Dealer today to see how much they would charge for a HD grille before I ordered one and paid for shipping. Anyways I give dude the part number and he says " we don't have it in stock(not surprised) we would have to order it." I say "OK how much" He's says " Its listed for $182.14"
"OK thanks bye" Think I will pay my $130 + shipping and not complain now(FL-NC should not be 2 bad).
Talk about Stealership, holy crap & suck my nut. Anyone else get crazy quotes from your local dealers?

Yeah not even worth trying to argue with them when they say silly crap like that. Its like hmm OK sure. There is another Ford dealer in my town also but i dont care for them much and Im sure the price will be the same or ballpark anyways.

Thats nuts. I love my truck but im not that impressed with the quality of the carpet. Low grade for sure. Use that money and get some of the good stuff. You will want to drive around barefoot and feel the lushness

LOL...when I went in to order the shifter cable for my steering column to console shifter conversion, I was trying to explain why I needed that specific cable. I didn't get half of my sentence out when the guy started shaking his head and said "it can't be done on a regular cab". For a minute, I didn't think he was even going to look up the part for me but he finally did.

So whats up dude you like the look of the 06 fog lights more then the 04-05 horizontal type like you currently have? I like my current ones but my 02 Ranger had the round fog lights and I liked it and then when they went to the little square ones I was like blah! I guess its what you like that matters the most and I do like the look of your truck(especially in silver) so rock on brotha

Oh snap! Kind of got me there dude. I dont know of a particular place off hand to get aftermarket carpet for our rides. Im sure there are plenty of shop's that pimp out rides that have quality carpet to go with custom seat jobs and things of that nature. Shoot being in Cali Im sure you could find some places couldnt you? Call Chip Foose to see if he can help.
I think I might have to snoop around the web now to see if there are places that offer replacement carpet for specific make/models such as ours. Let the hunt begin
