I just noticed he has an extended cab not an screw, thant should help the time out also. My fastest so far is 7.54 with the following mods:
edge evo, k&n drop in filter, flowmaster 40's SIDO, removed snorkle.

What are your edge settings? help us out man! we want to be fast like you too!

I think I'm going to make a phone call. I've put more into my engine including the mods you have done and I still have poor performance. Are you running 93 octane, I am running 91 but it shouldn't be such a big difference in performance, because it's HUGE between mine and yours. I'm taking it up with TP here in a minute, they're quite the support.
You have 3.55s with what look like 35's in your sig pic... What do expect?!? Dont expect the tranny to last much longer than the warrenty, thats for sure!

Those vids were made with the TP tuned Xcal2. The Edge didn't show up until about 6 this evening. I'll have some new times and info with it installed tomorrow.

I do NOT have 3.55's...where did you get that?...and thats not my truck, it's a photoshopped truck I've made. Take a look at my gallery and it'll be obvious.

As for the difference, he has SISO, I have SIDO, he has 3.55's (I have 3.73's, I have him 1upped there), I also have e-fans, we both have AF1's, he has a little bit of a weight advantage, and he's 4x2, so theres a little more weight advantage. The only thing he has an advantage on me is weight, just how much I'm not sure but I'd like to know. I doubt it will amount to the difference in speed, maybe it's the pinstripe.

Just found the weights, he weighs 5169#'s and I, 5577#'s. A difference of 400lbs or so. If 400lbs gives you that much of an advantage, it's no wonder our competitors are so quick, but I don't quite buy it. I'll keep you guys informed in regards to whats going on with Troyer.

My Advantages:
E-fans, 3.73's
His Advantages:
SISO (very miniscule) & 400lbs

There are reasons for everything, our trucks are using the exact same parts, they should, in theory, be identical. I'm assuming it's the PCM but it could be fluid levels? I'm using Royal Purple Synthetic (very good oil), and 3/8ths of a tank, about as good as it gets on fluids. I just don't see how any other variables can come into play, I'm right at sea level, it's about 60 degrees here...hmm. I'm tellin ya, it's the pinstripe, it's also why the old lariats were so fast.

Yep, they use all the same parts and in theory should be identical.. But thats not the case now is it There are so many outside factors in this world. It could be that his truck is plain faster in stock form.

No intent to disrespect you, im just pointing out the fact that these truck dont all run the same from the beginning..

Just cause it doesnt break the tires loose from a dead stop doesnt EXACTLY mean that you have less power. There are more variables that just power here.

I have a few mods... regular cab. With my 18" BFG long trail tires, it'll break em loose but it does spin.. These tires actually hook pretty good. When I had my hankooks on there, I'd punch it from a dead stop and They'd go up in flames....

Right now, my truck will chirp the 31" tires pretty hard when it hits seconds and spin for almost a second from a dead punch.. They just hook and go.

Right now:
4.10 Limited slip
Airraid intake
SI/SO custom exhaust (to maintain low end torque)
Xcal2 Dyno tuned
Underdrive pullies.
*Fans will be on REAL soon* waiting on controller in mail.

Come March-ish, when I get my bonus, I'll be dropping down to a set of 28" tires and lowering the truck. Should really pep it up dropping almost 3" in diameter of rubber.

No problems bush.

I don't have much lowend at all to be honest, but I do have quite a bit of topend. What did those underdrive pulley's do for you? Much of a difference? I have the pulley's sitting here but am not sure if I want to put them on or sell them. I am also thinking of putting a SISO maggie on, I'm trying to sell my SIDO in the classifieds, hoping someone will make me a good offer.

I know spinning them off the line doesn't have much to do with how much power you are making and is a bad way to judge mods because not all mods add lowend, but I was looking more at the 0-60 times

My stock f150 will spin the tires on asphalt. It does not accelerate like that one in the video though.

Thanks for the reply guys. The Xcal2 has definitely made this a fun truck to drive. Now for some underdrive pulleys, e-fans, 4.10 gears and stickier tires.
