No prob. Let us know how you make out, maybe even a few pics of the install. I am thinking of doing the same once the weather is nicer, and maybe putting the new rancho coilovers in the front. Keep us posted!

I'm just curious does the pro comp or skyjacker add-a-leaf really lift it 1.5" or is it more like 2".

I really want to see these pics. I am thinking about it myself.

Hey Penguin, we have almost the same truck and setup. I just was wonering what your thoughts were. The front is slightly higher than the back but not much. Are you thinking about a block or add-a-leaf or nothing?

Here is probably a stupid ? Do you have to use longer U-bolts when you put in the add a leaf and do you need longer shocks? I went with the Pro Comp 6" lift, left in my leveling kit and for now I made an extra 1" block to go with the 3" block that came with the lift. I think it still sits to bulldog, I want it to sit level. Has anyone else left their leveling kit in and added add a leafs? I would like to see some pics.

I,m thinking of adding a 3" body lift and going with nitto mud grappler 38's soon. But for now I want to get my truck back level.

Thanks, Eric

I bought the Pro-Comp add-a-leaf from www.summitracing.com for $92 shipped. It added about 1.5" to the rear. It was VERY difficult to install. The exhaust and gas tank had to be removed to get the forward leaf-spring eye bolts out.

Mines going in the shop monday (today) morning. I took a couple photos of the before and measured 60 inches from ground to bed rail at the rear axle. I'll let you know how it works out.

I welded an additional 1" aluminum block to the one supplied with the Pro Comp Kit.On top of this I installed a add leaf fabricated by my Spring shop/installer.
The rear sits about 2" higher in the back, which is my peference.I could not use any higher block without using longer U bolts.

The truck is still at my buddies shop. He sent me a text message saying that they may need to send it to a spring shop because the things won't fit with the factory clamps. I don't know what that means.
