I was thinking the same thing. If I had a lighter colored truck I'd go for it.

>Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is a Saleen Brand Supercharger right and has no relation to the Whipple?

I hope they for sure use their new Twin Screw 2 stage IC design, it is VERY impressive....and I would buy that for my F-150 in a heartbeat when they release the 5.4 version (4.6 version in photos).

BTW, I just got off of the phone with Saleen and the SC kit is just like the one above and will be offered as a kit for F-150 5.4s !!!! I was told the Kits should start selling shortly after the July release of the truck... I know what's gonna be under my Christmas Tree this year... if not sooner!!!!

Yup. I think Saleen is doing the Lightning that Ford won't. I like that grill. I don't think IMHO that the side skirts would do much for a lifted truck. Tho, I think they need 500hp instead of the 450hp.

That looks gorgeous. No one mentioned or looked closely at the hood and the appearance of what appears to be the functional heat extractor. The hood and grill is SICK! Hell, the whole truck is just plain "clean"...very nice.

Lets see...a saleen mustang costs almost as much as a corvette...

So i assume that a saleen f-150 would cost almost as much as a viper

TRASH!

My only two complaints are as follows:

1. I don't like the front lower valance. Looks weird.
2. Not a big fan of the black plastic on the front fenders.

Other than that, I like it alot.

Did you ask how much for either the truck or the kit?

The 4.6 SC Kit version sells for around $4899 at various places on the net. The 5.4 version is basically the same but with different size/shaped intake so I would assume it will be in the same price range. For that advanced of a design I think that is a bargain compared to the prices of the other kits on the market. For example, that is even cheaper than the Non Intercooled Roush F-150 Kit prices I see on the net. The guys at Saleen have me on a contact list to let me know when more details are available...

No idea on the truck cost, I didn't even ask.
