2006 F150 and FDR04-AUX

Any known issues with the FRD04-AUX not working in a 2006 F150 w/o audiophile?

FRD04-AUX is the auxillary input converter

well I have one and to be honest I am having alot of trouble with mine. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I am waiting today for my 4th microchip to make it work. it is a great idea if it would work all the time, do a search on a PIE and you will find all kinds of different answers on the subject. I'll post after the new chip comes in. I keep getting told its my radio thats the problem but I don't think so it works fine until the truck sits for a few hrs that won't turn on again, hopefully the new chip will solve this. work great when it does. I guess you are trying to hook up satelite radio or an ipod. sounds quality is great but getting tired of taking dash apart every week to install a new chip this will be the last one if it doesn't work going back to fm modulator sound isn't as good but it works evertime. good luck
