Has anyone installed a cb radio in their 04-06 f150?
Just put mine in last week. I have an el cheapo Radio Hack special with a nice firestick antenna. I mounted the antenna on the bed rail closest to the rear window and ran the cable down between the bed and the cab. There is a small vent in the cab that is covered with a small flap. You can run the cable in that way (can't see it...it's a feel job). I have an XLT that does not have an ashtray but does have a useless shelft below the cigarette lighter. The shelf unbolts after prying the radio bezzel off. I Dremeled a rectangle out for it to fit. Looks great and I'll get some pics up soon. Email me and I'll probably get them to you faster. Just got back from Tennessee today...saved me some tickets I'm sure!

just wondering, how many people use cb's now days? i got one for xmas. i cant decide what to put it in, the truck, or the baja bug. the truck is a daily driver, but it would be nice in the baja if i get broken down somewhere with no cell phone service

I mouted mine under the dash cup holders...I don't have a flow through. I'm getting ready to post a bunch of pics of my interior so you will have to wait a few hours to see.
