They are scarce here in northern california. Try the cooper STT they really look nice and are supposed to be good. Just an option. i know les schwab carries them around here. Sacramento, CA. Or you can order them from here at a pretty good price.

and here are the cooper tires you could probably find locally.

Good luck.

I went mudding yesterday, got stuck up to my door in DEEP mud, water got in a tad bit, because I opened the door. I got out without needing my buddy to pull me out but I was stuck for a good 15 minutes and had to rock myself out (fwrd then reverse, then repeat). I had so much trouble with my tires, and my buddy in his 95 Jeep Wrangler (there are a couple photos of his Jeep in my gallery) went through the same crap much easier than I, and he has the discoverer STT's, they do quite well and he's an avid offroader like myself. They're pretty decent, definitely not poor in the mud. I can hear him coming down the road and the ride inside isn't much better, then again, he's driving a jeep (w/hardtop) and you can hear the wind pretty badly. They clean their tread pretty well too. Hope I've helped, I have a video of him climbing a hill but his 4.0 6cyl bogs down while climbing, I climb much better in my F150 believe it or not.

Did he have 35" tires?? half of the wind is probably the wind resistance of the wrangler. (not very aero dynamic) but i dont really care too much about wind too much.
these are the tires I am considering

mickey thompson baja claw radial

or these

mickey thompson baja radial MTZ
they only have these in 36" with a 14.8" tire. If I were to use these do you think they would be too wide?? I am using a 9" wheel (moto metal 951 18")

or the coopers

which do you think I should get??

He had 33's and they look much larger on his Jeep than they would on our trucks.
