Big Problem Help Please
My dad has a 2005 F-150 lariat supercrew and he just had The XM Saelite Radio installed and when you put on the brakes for more than 3 seconds the xm radio unit shuts off. I have not had a chance to look at it yet but does anyone know what the potential problem is? Thanks for your help

I am wracking my brain and I really can't think of a reason for this, but give us some more info. What kind of XM Radio did you get? Is it hooked into the AUX part of the radio or is it FM modulated? Does the power to the reciever just turn off (and you can turn it right back on) or does it shut off and you cant turn it back on OR do you just loose signal??? Where is the antenna at? Is it mounted on the roof behind the 3rd brake light...if so have you checked the antenna wire to make sure its not in contact with the bulb and messing up when it gets hot?
