I lease my truck, but I keep my truck clean. Of course, I am also going to buy it at the end of the lease (no more leasing for me)!

That would be me as well, but I would have to add that it would also have to be a sunny day, with no threat of rain!

My truck is the definition of a "Garage Queen" -- much to the horror of "mudders" everywhere!

I have a garage queen also. I ride my bike everywhere unless it's raining or the family really needs to go somewhere in MY truck.

Just because it doesn't get washed doesn't mean i don't do any maintenance on it. By maintenance i don't just mean the engine oil but all the fluids, shock, brakes, U-joint,plugs, ball joints ETC. :santa:

You're right nothing is worth owning and not using.

Not my wheels. But mine do look eerily similar right now. Mainly because it's been so freakin' cold and I put the hose away for the winter. And I get wet at the manual car wash, so I have been waiting for a semi-warm day. Maybe tomorow. Supposed to be 51 degrees in South Jersey tomrrow. Keep your fingers crossed.

I can't ride around with a new satellite radio and a dirty truck.

Just because some of us like to keep a clean truck does not mean it is not used. Don't get me wrong my truck gets dirty and it used to do anything I want, that is why I have it. When the job is done it gets a bath to get rid of anything that does not belong on it. My truck get washed about once a week either a drive thru wash or hand. This just helps with spotting new mechanical problems and keeps the truck looking good no matter how you use it.

Wow, those are some nasty wheels!

Those of you with the brake dust problem, all I can say is buy some Hawk pads! They generate virtually NO brake dust. Try out a pair and you will see for yourself.

Here we go again with the brake pads. I'm about due to change my front ones. I was leaning towards the NAPA ceramics. Are the Hawks ceramic and squeal-free?

Where can you get these brake shields? Are they expensive? Easy to install?

My only question would be, why in the hell would anyone park next to a truck that is that close to the line and that dirty?? The owner obviously doesn't care about their truck, so what makes you think they would care about the vehicles parked next to them = Door Dings. When I see vehicles like that, I move to clear spot and take up 2 spots. A parking ticket is worth not having door dings all over my truck.
