Total new truck from what I understand. Its should look alot like the F150s inside and take alot of the design from the tonka truck that was out at the shows. Plus the 6.4 twin turbo diesel.

Now I bought the ’97 150 and it was a new model year, seemed like every time I went to the mailbox Ford was sending me a recall. That being said, how wise would it be to get a truck in the initial model year? Maybe I will wait until the 08’s for the bugs to be worked out????

my father-in-law 2004 SD-250 just blew up with 27K miles on it. Doesn't use it much for other than daily driver.

Usually a good decision. However my 04 was the first year model and it has not been to bad to me...yet.

well, look at it this way.... If you get an 2006 your probably not going to have "as many" problems with it as you would the new 2007 thats coming out. People always say avoid major changes, so maybe you will have better luck with a 2006??

hmmm not quite. It was brought back buy Ford under Ohio's lemon Law. Got each and every payment back from Ford!

This is besides the point though. All I'm saying is that the new 2007 WILL have issues as with any major work done to any truck! Just like the 04 F150's had. I'm just saying he might not have as many problems if he goes with a 2006 instead of a hole new 2007 which will have issues to be worked out over the year.
