Interesting problem after PIE installed...
I installed a PIE in my 04-F150 with the Audiophile system a week ago. Install went fine, but took longer than most because I pulled power directly from the fuse box (using an empty fuse holder location with an in-line fuse).
Everything is working fine (mine says "AUX" with the headphone icon and not "PIE" as others have stated - but I'm not worried about that). The problem is that everytime I turn on the radio after it being off, the 6-CD changer goes through it's start-up process, and accesses all the CD's (takes about 10 seconds of buzzing and whining). I know it did not do this before installing the PIE unit. I'm going to tear into the dash again and reseat the connections to the head unit just to be sure.
Anyone see this as a problem? I feel like it will wear out the CD changer in only a couple of years...
Ideas?
BTW, I love the PIE. I'm running a Roady-2 XM receiver. Sounds MUCH better than through the FM modulator!
