Thank everyone except Troyer Performance

I was already to order a 2004 F150 back in March of 2004 until I happened upon this forum. The issues of vibration scared me away. My previous truck is a 1997 F150 XLT that I ordered in March of 1996. It was so new that the 5.4 was not available, I ended up with the 4.6. I recently gave it to the daughter and son in-law with 115,000 miles and had absolutely no problems with it. I just received a 2006 KR on December 10th, after ordering it on October 28th.

Comments like, "over one million of the new style F150s have been sold and the vibration and other issues are not the norm," kept me on the path of my recent F150. My heart goes out to those with issues and I am keeping my fingers crossed. This is the fourth vehicle that I have owned in the past 29 years, all of them being Ford trucks.

My new nerf bars, tonneau cover, sprayed-in bed liner, mud and bug guards, leather conditioner, 3M protection, floor and bed mats, and a never ending wish list are a result of you members. I thank you all and so does my 06 KR (dark copper).

Oh yea, curse Troyer. My wish list keeps going from their Stage 1 package to ... ok, 1000hp! Then I come back to the reality that I will place my order with Mike for The XCal 2 and intake and exhaust upgrades.

We all have the same problem man. There is an endless supply of aftermarket parts and I dont have the money to buy them all and it makes me mad. Afterall i'm only 17 so maybe one day when i'm making 500k a year i'll be able to afford it.

I hear ya Ray...
I had a 97 4.6 F150 too... never had a problem 105 000 miles.
Changed the brakes, tires, and oil... that's it.

I didn't know what the inside of a service bay looked like 'till I got my 04.

You want to know whats rough? Spending everyday in Mikes shop and looking at "ALL" the pretty gleaming new parts and having the urge to install one of each on my SCrew....Then reality sinks in and I just hang my head and find something more to do to attempt to take my mind off of it all...Except those damn new blowers that he is selling....DAMN would one of those look good on my SCrew.
Intercooled baby !!!!!!!
