Mark LT Handles
I'm not sure of any actual How-To's on this subject but it isnt that hard. Just get the how to's to get the door panels off and go from there. There are 3-10mm nuts holding the handle on the outter door skin and one (or 2 depending on year model) on the side of the door under those rubber caps. They POP off pretty hard and then you have to finagle em out the best you can with those rods. Kinda hard to explain but you more or less look at it and think and try something and it will come out. The key is to PUT TAPE AROUND THE DOOR on the outside. Put like 3 pieces thick of WIDE duct tape right around the door handle opening when you get it popped loose. This will prevent scratching the CHIT out of your door which is very easy to do when you are cussing and throwing things trying to get the handles out of the door. If you bend the rods at all comming out (I did both sides on mine) the handle will not pull all the way back into the bucket when you have them installed. It will be kinda loose and not feel right, just bend them back and it will tighten up the handle pull. Any other ?'s email me or reply here as I have done this a few months back....I'll be glad to help! Good luck!

Finally got all 3 handles installed, but the the passenger side handle is really loose. I tried bending the rod, but that didnt work. How exactly did you fix this problem Matt?
Thanks for all the help.
The rod has to be threaded down just right or youll have what I call the "wiggles". Just play with it a bit till its at just the right level and youll be fine. It was a PITA for me when I did it as well.

Another thing to watch out for is installing the new handle with the door latch rod 180 deg's off! Pay close attention to the position of the rod when you remove the stock handles/buckets....if you install with the rod backwards it will make the rod bind when you pull on the handle to open the door.....I had to completly reinstall one of mine due to this issue. And if you install the new door handles correctly, they really shouldn't bend very much at all....you do have to work the bucket a bit as the upper edge is hard to fit back into the opening with the rod reattached. Also, my LT buckets didn't come with two screws per side (the ones accessed under the door side plugs) so I removed one from each of my stock handles and used it in the new handles so I'd have the two screw set up....probably overkill but wasn't too much additional work.
Good luck and well worth the effort IMO
