More about the adjustable ranchos...

Im really interested in the adjustable rancho shocks everyone been talking about lately. First off, Im still in the research phase and ill probably use the shocks to replace the autospring like many others seem to be doing but couldnt I still use the shocks with the spacer install if I wished? (in case it makes the ride bumpy trying to lift it that much with just the shock). Secondly, the pdf on ranchos site says the shock for our trucks is the RS99768 which I think someone else also had said in another post but only says 4wd. Anyone used them on a 2wd and would it matter anyways because the coils are the same correct? Thanks and sorry if they are stupid questions.

the RS99768 has the adjusting collar for height, so you would not need to install the autospring spacers with them. If you want to reuse the autosprings, get the RS99767 they are non adjustable for height and are cheaper. As far as using them on a 2wd I don't see why you couldn't, the front suspensions are the same other than height.

Thanks Red, thats what I was hoping to hear. I think I found a pretty good deal HERE for $112.30 a shock for the adjustable RS88768's yet it says "NOTES: Fits Models With 2½inch Lift"? I dont get it...
