HHC 1st Bn 23rd Inf 2nd Inf Div APO 96224
Jan 1967-March 1968

13 months, 21 days, 4 hours at Camp Young, north of the Imjin River, including most of a 30 day extension LBJ decreed when the Pueblo was grabbed by the NK Navy.
Christmas, 1967, I was Bn NCO CQ from 1800 till 0800, Christmas morning as we had patrols out and somebody had to mind the store.

Go easy, bro, and the 13 months will go by before you know it and THANKS for being there and doing what you do for all of us back here.

Well Hooah! sir and thanks for your service back before I was even born (1971). 13 of my 16+ years have been spent at Ft.Bragg. Any guess where Im headed back to after Korea? There are worse places I could be right now so Im not complaining that's for sure. Just glad to serve. Take care sir, Airborne!

Six-O-Duece huh? Well they are here on Humphreys now. When I see a 2ID patch here at the Hump I know there form the CAB(formally MFAB). First I was going to Stanley, then to Camp Eagle, then to Hovey before they decided on Humphreys a month before I PCS'd. I held on to my 2ID patch and Second To None crest until I actually got off the bus. What a nutroll. :santa:
