Talking Finally...My Gallary w/Pics

Well, I've been modding my truck now for the past eight weeks I've had it. I was just now able to get pictures done of my additions to the truck. I did also install my XCal2 tonight. A more comprehensive post on that once I get to drive it tommorrow. Let me know guys what you think of my hard work and umm...a few dollars spent on this set-up. Love the forum and so fun to be a part of it.
Thanks

Great looking truck!

How could you install the X-Cal and not drive the truck right away?
Wow, I wouldn't be able to sleep!

Well, I told a little fib....

I installed my XCal, but immediately after getting it hooked up my wife and 4 week old son were waiting on me to go to our Christmas Party. We took another couple with me so yes...I drove the truck to the party...but...I haven't 'driven' the truck yet...Make Sense?? So, I could tell a bit of a difference as I didn't run the truck past 2500 RPM, but could tell a difference in shift patterns.
You called me out that I wouldn't be able to drive it immediately after installing XCal...but I haven't gotten to 'try' it out yet!

I'm ready for it to go away. I can't keep the truck clean. They don't use salt here, mostly sand, so it's so nasty.

Ohhhhh...Yes!! They will be coming soon, I think. I just keep on telling my wife that I got an extra bonus this year and I'm spending my bonus money from work! Not sure, but I think the ebay ones you listed are knock-offs. Are they not? I will probally do OEM HD lights, my local dealer usually does Fordparts.com price plus $10.00, so looking at a few hundred for both assemblies. Probally be after the 1st of the year, but I think those will look really nice with the HD grille and solid Dark Shadow Grey color.

Interesting stealth box, looks a bit large though
You know I think part of it looking so large is that the front seat is all the say back and tilted back also. I'm 6'5" so with the seat back it looks cramped back there, but the stealthbox isn't too bad actually and it sounds incredible. In fact, tonight I pulled my seat up and an adult rode in the back on the way to our Christmas Party.

The 2month period, I'd say, is a good time to start modding.
At about that time you start realizing EVERYONE else has your same truck, then you change a few things to where you like it, then you get hooked & can't stop, its like a drug
Yeah...Everything you see has been done in the last eight weeks. I'm going to get bored quicikly after I run out of money...cause we'll never run out of mods to do....right boys! Although I do get tired of vehicles fast. This is my 8th personal vehicle in 7 years. (not including 5 motorcyles)

Oh...and in case you were wondering...I always trade/sell my vehicles off my choice....Not because the bank tells me I have to!!!!! Banks love me, as you can see. I don't keep anything very long, but I always buy things cheap and right so I can afford to switch vehicles every year.

Great mods and a damn nice truck. I wish I could keep my truck that clean during the winter. They use some kinda chemical on the roads here. Nasty stuff. :santa:
