Here Comes 2006... A Note From Rockpick.

Hi guys and gals...

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rockpick. I moderate this forum and help out across the f150online.com message boards. I don't own the site nor am I on a 'payroll' with the site. I moderate on my own time... Like me or don't like me, I do have a role in helping with this site.

I wanted to take a quick moment to reflect back on 05' and look forward to the new year...

First and foremost, I want to thank all of our members who frequent the 2004-2006 forum. Many of you contribute often; some not so often. Either way, you continue to make this one of the most successful F-Series websites on the planet. We here at f150online.com realize that and take our hats off to you for your help in making this site what it is today!

Moving forward to the new year, I want to continue to steer this forum in the direction that it's headed as we've all worked hard to point it in that direction. While we will encounter bumps along the way (trolls, spammers, and general buttheads), we can deal with those and continue to move forward. I think we've done a great job with this forum since it's conception and addition to the f150online.com forum lineup and I have no intentions of letting it stray from what we've worked so hard to establish. This, again, is due to the great member base that we have here.

Many of you know and realize that this is much more of a 'home-like' feel when it comes to message boards. We have several regulars that post frequently and also have a plethora of new faces continuing to emerge and join the ranks of our site. Friendships have been born on this site that will last a lifetime. It's important to continue the things that have made us successful and focus on items that can continue to draw quality people to our boards.

2006 is marked to be the best year yet for f150online.com and, with your help, we can seize that goal. With that in mind, please feel free to email me personally if you see something getting out of hand. Personal attacks, spam, trolls, and off-topic or off-color comments, posts, and/or threads only detract from this goal. I welcome you to fire me a email at kingranch@hotmail.com if and when you note something of this nature. If it's something serious enough, we do have a 'report to a moderator' link with every post on this site. Please be forewarned that this should ONLY be used when things are very ugly or very out of hand (this is your school's fire alarm handle). You folks have made this what it is today, I want to keep a lot of the power to steer this forum in your hands.

Please continue to contribute to the forum where you can and ask questions as needed. Again, feel free to fire me an email if and when you see things spinning in a direction that detracts from the site. This is a quality place with quality people. Let's not stray from that!

I wish each and every one of you the best for the new year and hope that you have a very merry Christmas. Be careful out there...

-Rockpick-

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! Wow, it's been a long year that went by fast with a lot of money spent on mods. Hopefully next year won't be as expensive!

As we enjoy the holidays, remember to keep our "Grinches" in mind and hope to spread them holiday cheer and happiness. I say this with poor Dzervit in mind and other notables that have temporarily left the site. As troublesome as their comments are, family isn't the same without the "weird uncle"

Merry Christmas fellas!

Duke

Merry Christmas Rockpick! You do an excellent job moderating and I thank you. I don't know how you put up with it all sometimes, but your class always shows through.
