Wow I used the searched button, and it really works!!!
parking brake on
Ignition in the on postiion but not started
wait 1 minute for the seatbelt lite to go off
buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 9 times
watch the airbag light flash quickly for about 2 seconds
within 10 seconds buckle and unbuckle again
this will disable the chime

This may not be word for word, and I may be missing some steps so please check with the manual to verify.
For some reason I flashed back to a Spongebob episode. That was too funny.

No problem, it took me four times and a six pack of beer before I finally got it right.

Between his last post with the first letter of every word in caps and your post with no caps at all, you two could combine them and actually make one post that is readable.

Or they can get together and READ the owner's manual, that's why you get one! :santa:

That was post #3. It was clear and concise with no drama. If BuckFiddy ever has to do it again, now he knows where to find the instructions (or how to show someone else).

Exactly what I was thinking. A several-step process is sometimes screwed up when you type it all out. But simply reading it in the owner's manual and the convenience of having it with you in the truck as you do it to read along is the easiest way and that is what we told him to do.....I don't see how we become a$$holes for telling him this........
