Adding a fuel pressure gauge

Well as some of you know on the 04+ F150s and Mustangs, Ford redesigned the fuel rails and dropped the shrader valve test port from their design...so there was no easy access to the fuel system on my truck...i went through an adapter for the mustang which did not fit on my truck, so finally i made it to Lowes, picked up some brass fittings, teflon, and hose clamps, and this is what i came up with...

The silver and black piece at the top of the T is the autometer sensor which plugs into the wire from the gauge. To get this thing in i figured just cut the fuel line which i thought was rubber...come to find out, its actually plastic with a rubber hose covering it....so, this made the fuel very rigid...the fix for that was to cut another 2" out of the line to get the T-tap to fit...so at this point im thinking wow i really hope this works otherwise im screwed...so i get it all on and start up the truck, and theres fuel spraying out of the fittings...so i took everything off, re-sealed it, reclamped it and tried again...and as far as i could tell, no leaks, and the gauge in the cab is reading 30 lbs at idle and 39 with throttle, right where it should be...heres a pic of the final assembly installed...Quintin, thanks for your help...your posting on the dealer test assembly gtave me the idea to make this adapter
