Smoke, lets us know when you get it on the type of pipe it uses. I talked with Roush Parts in Livonia yesterday on the construction, they guy on the phone said he thought it would be all stainless. He did say that the drivers side rear hanger bracket has to be drilled in a new location if you have the factory tow package, he said that is the only fabrication needed.

I was looking at an exhaust from Roush. Why would Roush only make them bolt-on for every model BUT reg cab short beds? They told me that the only one that would fit with mofifcations is the L style. I ended up getting a Magnaflow si/do system.

I have a slight bit of confusion maybe one of you can clear up. What's the difference in the offroad vs. normal version? Usually, that terminology is used with mid-pipes in terms of having "cats" or not. Considering I don't see a "Y" pipe on there, it's not replacing the cats, therefore is the "offroad" version just a louder muffler compared to the normal one, but both would be emissions legal?

From what I got from the part's guy. Its just the muffler that is louder.
I actually took out the Roush stage 2 they have at a local dealership.
Lets say, I made a good choice to go with the offroad.
At higher RPM's you could hear the motor over the Roush legal exhaust.
Its not very loud at all.

Thank you for clarifying that...too bad I'm not really into the SI/DO configuration, however if I was to get one, it would be the Roush one.

I inquired about the same thing. They explained it to me that the muffler is the same, its louder because they put less packing material in it so it doesnt baffle it as much.

So the muffler internally is different?

Install pics would be great, since I am doing the install myself.
Didn't end up getting it from the dealer. His price kept going up.
So I purchased it from the same dealer you did.
I got the 07. I took out a Roush truck with the 06# with a buddy, and he even said it wasn't all that much louder.

BC, not even close. I am near Toronto (well 4 hours away) but 15 minute's from Detroit MI.

thats cool- ill see what i can do on friday for the pics...hopefully they'll be cool about it- if you have any questions for the order ask for Mike Roth at this number 402-426-4126 extremely helpful, and will get anything straightened out... (ie, my exhaust was delivered only this AM as roush either 'forgot' or chose not to ship mine...he called his bud up in michigan told em to get their act together, and had it upgraded to overnight shipping-on roush-..(as it was supposed to be here this past monday)

Mike is the guy at Woodhouse? right?
If he is, I put my order in on Friday and Roush didn't send it out until Tuesday.
Probably one of their shipping days. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky. Roush is only 45 minute's away. Ya right..........I just pinched myself
