Hey, be proud of that 4.6L! They aren't blowing because of stuck injectors, or getting their sparkplugs stuck in the heads! Not to mention the fact that according to c0ckalo's dyno graphs, stock they are putting down 202 HP. That's VERY effecient compared to the 300 flywheel/240 actual 5.4L. I love my 4.6L!

Look into going with the Scan Gauge, it will provide you with a digital tach, and added digital read out information. Corrected MPH, engine LOD, water temp, MPG, miles to empty, highest speed driven, highest engine RPM for the day. average speed driven, miles driven.
Simple install, plug into your under dash computer port and then mount the read out in your truck. Mine is on the dash on an angle located by the front window pillar with Velcro. Kind of like having heads up display driving for gauges.
All at a cost of $129 shipped to your door.

Customer service is awesome

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong and I appologize if I am, but I thought Screws only came with 5.4's and not in STX trim??

Come to think of it I've never seen a Screw flareside either.....weird. Lets see a picture of this mutant!!!

I am glad this turned into a ''4.6 brothers unite'', but for the record I love my 4.6. I was just stating the fact that the majority of mods and info are on the 5.4 and they seem atleast to me, to look us over in the mod department.

Now I have one last question can I run a mustang gear in my truck?

im not positive, but i believe with the 4.6 you have an 8.8 rear end, which means any 8.8 gears would work for you

as far as your engine, i think youll be suprised to find that a few mods are the SAME for the 5.4 and 4.6, pullies, exhaust, efans, etc

I know those run together but as far as when they list them all the info is always what the 5.4 does, I would like to know what are the gains on our motors.
