My neighbor has a sewing machine with embroidery capability, and she offered to put the FX4 on my headrests if I could get the file from someone.Since I just ordered a set of ebay leathers,it would be nice to get the file before I install them

I mentioned a little while ago about doing this, but have not gone through with it yet. I got the idea from "Sal fx4" Here is a pic of his:

I have a jpg of the fx4 I was going to use, let me know if you want me to email it to you.

hmfic go ahead and send me the file, and I'll check with my neighbor and see if that is what she needs.

If she has the equipment for embroidery, shes going to need a file that has already "digitized" the picture or logo. What I have is just a jpg pic of a FX4 emblem. I was going to take this to the shop and they were going to use this pic to digitize the program for the machine to sew. They were going to charge me like $120 to digitize then they save that for me and will do whatever I wanted embroidered for like $25. I am in the process of getting a bunch of guys together to split the cost of the initial fee. I'll send the pic, but not sure its what you need.

After reading your last post, you're probably right,I will need the digitized file. But I'll ask my neighbor anyway and see what she has to say. And thank you, I recieved the .jpg file you sent.

Hey Yellow
when you had the FX4 embroidered into your seat covers, did they digitize it? And if so, do you still have the file?

Is this a universal program that any embroidery shop should be able to use?

Yes this is what they will need. I do vinyl lettering and I am pretty sure they use the same type files.

Awesome, I guess I'll put this project back on the front burner. Time to call the embroidery shops. I had one shop tell me before that they have to take some stiching out to get the headrest around there equipment. I hope that is avoidable.
