Anyone with a winch?

I'm personally not interested in a winch.... But I figured since winter has set in, some guys night consider getting one.
PICS guys, if you got one.

Thanks, i was trying to get better pictures of the winch. For those interested the hydraulic winches are 100% duty cycle until it reaches its limit. They run off the power steering pump and fluid. The electric you have to let it cool down after a few minutes before you continue winching. But they are nice because you can take it off and place in another vehicle. The hydraulics only work when you're engine is running. Electric runs on battery only. Thanks for the compliment. I will definitely try to post some better pics on the subject in question.
The front end of that truck is just bada$$! I'd hate to be on the recieving end of that in an accident..
Wish I had one couple months back when I hit a deer.. didnt damage the truck except it bent the bumper just a baby hair...

Speaking of winches, not to hijack the thread, but is anyone running a setup that allows the winch to be taken off easily? I was thinking maybe something like have a front hitch receiver that had a plate the winch mounted to. I'd like to have one winch to share between my FX4 and bronco.

I have a front mount receiver on my F-150. I then bought a multi-mount cradle for my Warn 9500 that I had on my Jeep. This way I can slide it into the front or even to the back receiver for winching. Another bonus is if I don't plan to use it, I can unhook it and store it out of the elements.
Here is a link to the photo of a winch bumper that was discussed in another thread. Pull-Pro Winch Bumper. It is made by Big Country. Here is the thread it was discussed in: Winch Mount Thread. I like the looks of it better than the full bumper replacements.

I really don't know since I believe may vary by winch and load and length of time you are pulling. My winch has a sensor that tells you when the winch needs to cool down. I bought a red top battery at sears to run the set-up which has about 800 cold cranking amps. Many with a winch use a double battery set-up to have enough juice for the winch and accessories as well as start the truck and run lights or air compressors(if needed). I will eventually go to a dual battery set-up hopefully within a year. Good luck

the one at this site seems a little excessive with 3 batteries, He must have a disco on the bed of his truck or something
But if it works for you GO FOR IT.
