What would you do?

To make a long story short, I have a buddy that does a LOT of buisness with Jackson Racing. They are working on a supercharger for the 04+ 4.6L F150. They aked him if he knew anyone who would want to test the supercharger. So what do you do? Would to take the free supercharcer that hasn't been tested? You have no idea how bad I want to do this, but what if it messes up my truck. There is supposidly a full warranty to cover any damages, but I haven't seen anything in writing. What would you all do?

I'm pretty much going to do it. Starting this thread was my little way of gloating over me getting a free supercharger

If you are really worried, ask them for a copy of their liability insurance policy. Call up their insurance company and ask them if this kind of damage is covered under the policy. If it is, have Jackson Racing sign a document that says they assume full responsibilty for any damage caused by, or reasonably related to, the installation of the Supercharger. You probably won't do this, though, since it looks like you are about to p.p. your pants just thinking about having a supercharger in your truck. Only attorneys think about all the bad things that can happen, and who will be responsible for it if it does. Listen to your intuition here... get it in writing.

BUT, if you give me their number & I can get one too I'll love you again!
I'll see what I can do about getting another one foe someone here on the board, but from what I unerstand, they are only making 5 for this test. So...I will have 1 of only 5 supercharged 04+ 4.6L F150s in the world!!!
