I have to park on narror streets everyday and I fold in my drivers side side mirror...when I come back, I fold it back out (more like pop it back out)...and now I have noticed some shaking, like the jarring from the mirror snapping back into position caused the motor assembly to come loose....Anyone else have this problem?

 

i remember haveing a similar problem but i just check to see if it was fully engaged back in to the foldd out position and it was not in the engauged position all the way. it had the little bit to go. so i would suggest make sure it is fully in there that solved my shaking problem. I also have a 2003 F150 lariat and not a 2005 body style.

 

Yeah I actually know what you are talking about, because I did the same thing with my old 99. But this is the actual glass shaking now, just because of everyday folding of the mirror...
