finally got my truck into the shop this morning for the last few items. cam phaser knock and the rss system. they got me a rental because they ran out of time getting it all done today. i stopped by the shop and no one was around at about 5:50 tonight. door was open so i ventured a look. the cam timing chains and gears look pretty beefy! what i saw on the workbench was two gears that had been swapped out. i guess this is the famous cam phaser? the gears had something else attached to them on the back like some kind of loop or ear? wish i had the camera. anyway, will report how it goes when i get it back on monday. wish me luck! LOL
ps. truck looked wierd without all the crap attached in the front of the engine!
