Thanks for the info.
I will see if I can find the factory one some what cheap. But it looks to me with the prices you have listed I rather spend the money else where.
I have read a few post when I bought the truck on ths aftermarket systems and they seem to do the job. What is the name of the one you have?

I don't know the brand name, bought it on Ebay and it came from Hong Kong (arrived in a week). The reason I got this one is that it displayed in "Feet" instead of "Meters" like all the other ones I saw that looked just like mine. Pay close attention to the descriptions, if it doesn't clearly say "feet" it will most likely display in "meters".. unless that is what you want.

Here is the auction where I got mine and I know he has more.

I bought from the same seller that 928gt mentions above, and mine came in about 7-9 days, too. I haven't got around to installing it yet, because the truck is new and there is some minor paint flaws that need to be fixed first. As soon as those are fixed, I'll be installing it on my XLT. On a related note, I didn't see any mounting holes in my chrome bumper, and I've read other threads here that people had to drill their bumper. I don't think that's a big deal, but I'd be sure to put some rustproofing primer on the bare metal where the holes were drilled, if you have to go that route.

> On a related note, I didn't see any mounting holes in my chrome bumper,

Look carefully on the backside of your bumper behind where the black plastic cover is to either side of the license plate. Everyone I have seen has the holes in the metal, but not in the plastic cover. This is where the inboard sensors go. Take a look at a factory equipped sensored F-150 to get an idea where the holes are or should be. This could be a 2005-2006 thing, I haven't looked behind a 2004 bumper.

You will have to drill the "outboard" sensors

>I don't think that's a big deal,

It's not and the "hole drill" included in the kit does it just fine.

Absolutedly!!
