High beam and fogs.....

Anyone try this product yet or know of anybody that did this mod on their f-150? I had something similar on my Denali from Stylinconcepts and worked well. I bought these off of e-bay for $13.00 so I figured I'd give them a shot.

It can be done without using a kit, very easy mod. Search for fog light mod.

I did the mod where you bend back one of the prongs on the relay and attach a wire to it then run it to ground. Cost .99 cents. Someone on here has pics of it. Very easy.

Just out of curiosity...why would you want high beams AND fogs on at the same time? Isn't it illegal? It is here in Michigan.

Not trying to talk you out of it...just curious to why.

LOL...the kit said that other kits are just a wire without a fuse and "very unsafe"! Why would you need a fuse on a wire that your grounding????

yea depending on the state, it is illegal- thats why ford makes it the way they do.... some people do it for looks, other for function, as it provides so much more light on the road...

I drive alot of older rural highways from about September to March and the extra added light helps out tremendously. It is also illegal to drive with your brights on with oncoming traffic approaching. That is why they give you your dimmer switch.

I do alot of Driving at night on Rural roads as well, and any extra lighting helps a great deal. I thought about getting some sort of auxilary lighting but i'll try this first and see how helpful it is. I'm sure its illegal here in NY as well, but I will do my best not to be careless with it and blind oncomming traffic

Fair 'nuff.

boomer08 - You're right. That is why they give us the dimmer switch. You know what I miss though...the dimmer switch on the floor. Without a manual transmission to drive my left foot gets bored while driving.
