I blew the stock speakers in my truck. I guess the headunit had too much power for them and listening to them so loud just did them in. So anyways, right now Im looking for some speakers that will sound good being powered by the headunit and give me the option of wanting to add an amp later on. Im looking to stay under $200 for all 4 of them so can anyone help me out? I really wasn't expecting to buy speakers but since mine are blown, Im going to be forced.

The damn clunk is back and Im just waiting for my motor to blow up.
I know for sure soon as it is out of warranty Im going to be selling it for sure. I hate to say it unless Ford steps up, my next truck might be one of the new Tundras. If not a F-250 or hopefully another F-150.

Stock speakers are 6X8 25 watts. Any 6X8 or 5X7 should drop right in.
Four quality speakers fur under $200? Polk db 570's will drop right in. Sound good with stock HU's and will handle a future amp ungrade. So will Infinity Reference or Kappas, but those will probably break your budget. Just check out the speaker reviews at Crutchfield. Good place to do research, but you'll find the speakers significantly cheaper elsewhere. You'll often pay outrageous shipping buying speakers on ebay.

Crutchfield has the Alpine Type R's on sale for $60 a pair. I heard them at Best Buy and didn't like them so I went with the Type S off ebay for $60 a pair. Sounds good enough for me. I had Boston's in my car and replaced them all with Alpines. Everyone's speaker tastes are different you got to hear them before you buy em.
Yo thump, I have all 4 stock speakers out of mine. I'll give those up for next to nothing. I also have a Infinity Component set(w/ tweeter and crossover). It's 6.5 round speaker and I will throw in the mounting brackets.... Shoot me an email if you are interested. I just ordered the Polk Momo components from millionbuy.com for 179. They are regularly 400 bucks. You could get those for up front and then throw something in the rear doors. The components sound better w/ an amp but you could run off HU. Good luck w/ whatever you do

So if you're going to go loud, get some power behind the signal.
I don't know if you would want to, but if your truck is still under warranty, I think the speakers should be covered. I had a Mustang Gt, well actually still have it, but when it was new and under warranty, I blew the speakers several times in it. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced them for free each time. So you might want to check with your dealer if you don't want to spend the money on some new speakers right now.
