2004 F150 PCM code location?

I took my truck in this morning for the newest reflash. Where is the location of the pcm code that Mike will need for the xcal2 I plan to order soon. I hope the dealer revised the code somewhere under the hood. If they didn't...can Mike still do the xcal2?

Taken right from Mike's website:
"Simply open the hood and locate the PCM (Powertrain Conrtrol Module) - it is at the top of the firewall, just left of center. It looks like a shiny rectangular-shaped aluminum box, and has three (3) separate wiring harness connectors on teh front of it. You will find the code either right on the PCM or very close to it (usually just to the right side of the PCM on the firewall), on a sticker. The format will be 3 letters followed by 1 number, like BME8, or MSE6, etc. - there are many different PCM codes for 2004, but they will always be in that exact same format of 3 letters followed by 1 number."

If i remember correctly Mike MUST have the new code so make sure they put the sticker where it's supposed to be.

This is the PCM base code, also known as a tear tag number. Just above it is the original PCM part number:

I reprogrammed my PCM, here's the authorized modification label that dealers are supposed to install. I put mine on the radiator support cover.

Yes, the latest calibration available for my truck is 4U7A-12A650-GPA. The original calibration/part number was 4L3A-12A650-ADE. I left the 12A650 part out on the modification decal since that goes without saying, 12A650 is the generic base part number for a PCM. Whenever you recalibrate the PCM, you're effectively changing the part number of the module.

That's the first picture, the tear tag number, in my case "DVK4."

No, tear tag never changes unless the PCM is replaced.
