2004 F150 reflash

I'm taking my truck in to the dealer friday morning for the updated reflash...I've read in other post that it should help my truck be abit peppier I'll keep y'all updated when I get her done

PCM recalibrations usually don't give huge improvements, like a tuner would. some folks just get it in their head "reflash = mo betta," even though most changes implimented by a new calibration are so subtle that you won't notice them unless you're really looking hard for them. That said, I have seen PCM updates help a lot with certain running problems. I reprogrammed my PCM and I didn't really notice any changes afterwards, other than the trans shifting a bit firmer for the first 40-50 miles or so after the recal. Do keep us posted though.

hadn't had mine done in about a year, till last week. it will do a rolling burnout now after you have already started moving. didn't do that before!

I plan to get a xcal2 from Mike soon...but my I thought for free and for fun..I'd get the updated pcm flash and see whats up..wish me luck

it did wonders for my truck, being such an early one off the assembly line. it just wants to go all the time. it's like how a dog gets excited right before a walk - just wants to puuuuuuuulll.
