Question Front-End Alignment

Does anyone know if any additional parts, shimms or whatever is needed for caster/camber adjustment?
If anyone has had this done what did it cost?
We are about to lift the front-end on th '05 Screw and wondered if we should go the way the front-end shop guy say's or the way the dealership says is OK.

I think you'll need eccentric cam bolts to replace the stock lower control arm bolts to allow for camber/caster adjustments. I'm kinda short on time right now, so hopefully someone else knows for sure, if not, I'll check when I get home.

Yeap, you'll need new lower control arm to frame bolts with eccentric cams on them for caster/camber adjustment.

Thanks Quintin.
That explains the added cost but it makes no sense to me why Henry didn't just have it come with those if they are needed for the adjustment. Surely their engineers didn't think it would never need adjustment .
I 'd still like to hear how much $ anyone has had to pay for this. I was quoted $150.

Bump

Needing to get mine done as well, pulling to the right. So if I hear right, the 04+ needs adjusters installed? Quotes anyone?

I've got $49-55 alignment only, and $150 alignment+adjusters quoted so far.

If I recall I was quoted $144 per side on top of the nomal alignment fee...My caster was only .2 out of range (range is 3.3 - 5.3, I was 4.8L/5.5R) on one side so I declined and got toe corrected only (this was after an AS intstall)...But probably will get it done down the road...

I was told I need some type of bolt to get my truck aligned correctly after new tires. Is this correct? I just got the tires new. I want to make sure I get a correct alignment.

After researching this a little more yesterday, the extra adjusting bolt is needed only if the camber is needing reset. Might as well do it now even if the camber is fine now. You will probably need it in the future. Lord knows why Ford decided to leave this off.
