How do you remove the rear seatback?

I was told that if you remove the rear seatback in the supercrew you can find the code for the keyless entry system. Is this true? I was unable to figure out how it comes off. Has anyone on here done this?

do a search, there are step by step instruction on how to do this. And yes, on the back wall drivers side is a box which has the code printed on it.

Thanks Squeakers. Do you know if you have to remove the entire seat or does the back just pop off? I've been searching for the instructions but have been unable to find them.

Mad Dog,
You can take the back off by itself. It isn't easy, but it does come off. As the other poster said, do a search and there are some detailed instructions. Basically, there are two clips back there about a foot from each side that you have to click to get the seat to come out. When I put my amp back there, that took longer than any other part of the process.

Again ... search. Try "remove AND seat" (without quotes). For one specific thread that I know about, put "Austinite" in the member name box. Oh, and make sure you're searching only the 2004-2006 F150 forum. Good luck.
