Tire Rotation

I have a 2004 SUPERCREW LARIAT 4X4 with Goodyear LT275/65R18 Wrangler at/s The truck has 5415 miles on it I know that the tires should have been rotated at 5000 miles I have no shimmys, vibes the front tires look like the rear no wear Iam just a little worried if i rotated the tires and by me doing this My front end might get a shimmy, vibes Should i let the tire rotation go until 10000 miles ?

I don't think there'll be enough practical difference to matter if your alignment is on spot. I rotate mine every service, and balance every third service.

I rotate mine between 5-6K miles. It won't hurt anything to rotate them now. I would not wait until 10K.

6000 miles seems to be the new magic number for rotating tires under severe use. At least that's the number on the last couple of tire warranties I have. I've always waited until 10,000 miles unless I start to notice some uneven wear. Fords tend to wear the outer edge of the front right tire.

I change oil every 5K (mobil 1) and rotate tires when I do that just to keep em wearing good. I have balanced 2 times and have 20K on my truck and the tires still have a LOT left!
