Looking for the RAP module in my Lariat...

Does anyone know where the Remote Anti-theft Personality module is located in the 05 F150? I need to find the access code that is supposed to be there for my keyless entry system. I've read that it is either located under the dash on the driver side or it is behind the fuse box on the passenger side but I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know for sure?

It appears that Ford doesn't use a RAP module on the 05's. My Ford wiring diagram shows that it uses a Body Security Module. The component location calls it a Body Control Module. Which ever name its called it's in the drivers B-pillar on reg cabs and behind the rear seat on Screws and Scabs. Hope this helps.

i don't belive the code is printed anywhere on the module you need to go to a dealer and have the get the code from the system.

Thanks guys. I think you are right that they changed it in the 05 model. I was hoping to avoid bringing it to the dealer to get the code.

Dog it takes all of 5 mins to do it so don't let them tell you need pay anything or you have book your truck in, they should be able to do it right in the write up area.

I may be wrong here without my manual here in front of me, but is not the code on a card in the soft case that comes with the truck?

It's there. I bought my 05 used and didn't have the code, didn't want to fool w/ the dealer again. It is behind the drivers side rear seat back. Undo the center belt cover and the seat back is a pain until you understand how it pops, but it is there.
