Got me some new wheels

I know they are not after-market. I wanted to keep the truck ALL factory, so I won a bid on some FX4 wheels and tires, with like only 10 miles on them for a real sweet price.. check it out.. I had 17" factory polished alum with michelins'
Its a 2004 XLT with 5.4 and 3.73 LS

Cool looks good,, I was trying to win a set of those also,, but lost 3 auctions on Ebay,, found the FX4 wheels and I think nobody bid on them because the way the store had them priced,, shipping was included and folks may have thought it was additional, I just got lucky. They are brand new wheels and tires.. and got an extra 2 inches or so of lift from the set that came on my truck.. Sweet...

Personally, I love the factory wheels. Aftermarket wheels never quite look right in my opinion.

Yep, I spent several months trying to decide on a set of wheels and could quite find the right set for me.. I just found out last month about " factory take-offs " and glad I did, I love the FX4 wheels.

I will be selling my lariat wheels and tires soon, but you probably don't want them, they have 50k miles on'em. The wheels are in great shape however, the tires are not bad, 5-10k miles left in them.

Looks good.

I've had my FX4 wheels for sale for the longest time now. Wish someone local would take them off my hands.

From: San Diego Ca,
Guys is the loss of power noticeable when you move up to 18 wheels from 17.
I'm going to put my FX4 275/65/18 tires this weekend from 255/65/17. Or it's not that bad. I got a 5.4 with 3.55.
Thanks

Not that this will make the situation any better, but if I were on the same friggin coast as you, I'd pick up 'em up. I need a second set to mount the 35X12.5's.

Looks good man. I went with the same tires and wheels about 2 weeks ago:

I have since added the 2 inch lowering shackles and it looks even better. BTW, did you buy yours from a guy in Gorman, TX??
