XLT/Lariat Hybrid Console Installed...pics!

Well I am sure glad FX4&EXCURSION decided to do his flow through console conversion because he sold me his XLT console and I couldnt be happier with it!!! Thanks FX4!!!

I got the console from him without the arm rest, rear cup holder piece or air vent piece so I bought a Lariat flow through off ebay and robbed those pieces off of...including the black leather arm rest. The install took about 30min and was a snap...I took pics of the install but when I came in here to upload them I realized I didnt have the memory stick in the camera (DUH!) The flow through console is the only thing my truck didn't come with I that I really wanted, and IMO this console is a perfect compromise. The best part is I have $135 total in it!!!

How far does it go into the back seat?

I've been contemplating trying to do a console install in my Reg Cab truck. I got the 40/20/40 bench in it too so I think I could just remove that center section.

It doesnt go back any farther than the little folding seat. It bolts in the same holes that that seat does. You would not have any problem fitting it into a reg cab....if you can find one of them.

Hey RamSS/T would you be interested in selling the leather covers from the center 20% section? Or even the entire center section (back and bottom)? I'm getting ready to install the leather O.E.M. covers and I need the center 20%

Sorry about those missing console pieces. They are on my truck....
I had the same setup as you but I prefered the flint. In your truck that setup looks great though.

That mod Looks great. That console gives you the much needed storage space that is missing in the F150.

I recently upgraded to leather covers and will soon be searching for a console lid wrapped in simulated black leather.

How much did you give for the lid or was is a package deal for the entire console?

TIA,
Ox

I had planned to put the center in the attic and then put it back in the truck when I trade it and sell the console, but email me with offers and I might sell it (the whole thing...I wont take the covers off and sell just them).

It sure looks that way, however I don't have any kids (not that I know of anyways). Heck I'm not even married... yet. That stain is somewhat a mystery to me. The only thing that I can think of is that my coffee thermos must have leaked the week before.

Anyways I am working on fixing the situation

btw IMO the original cloth seat covers are crap. Ford really needs to rethink using materials that stain so easily and I even had the scotch guard protection done by the dealer.

Almost imbarrassed to show that pic ^
