I think they use to be called sleeper cabs aswell (like in the big trucks)....I remember back in the mid 90s they were almost farily popular. They were accessible through the rear window and they didnt go to the floor of the bed..the bottom was even with the bed rail. Almost imagine a tiny "snugtop". I had a friend that had one on his Ranger and he had 6 12s in it. It worked great but looked like chit.

I dont now, nor have I ever, seen the purpose for those. It just doesnt work. Looks like someone cut the top off a blazer and bolted it down. At least make it looks like it wasnt an after-thought. Then you could disregard everything but the first part of my post.
