6-8" Lift Kit

What are the options when looking for an 8" suspension kit if any (only know of CST 8" lift, about $3,000). I would go with a 6" suspension lift but would rather have 8 inches of lift to substitute a body lift. Do any of these 6" kits allow swapping to fox shocks? I love the look of shocks showing above the tires in the fender wells, what kits will do this. Total noob questions I know but I figure most are custom lifts that have custom surroundings for shock placement. I know the new Rize industries has a new concept for shocks showing right there but it's about $3500 for just the front. I also know King's lift shows the lift but how much actually shows?:

This is a 6" lift I found for only $1800, anybody know much about it?

A good example is this autofab lift, you can see the shock mounting brackets and they will show the shocks very well. What suspension lifts allow this, any of the main ones (ProComp, Fabtech, Rancho, etc)?

I am going to be getting the 6" lift or so soon, I plan to fit 37's with no rubbing. I basically just want to see the shocks in the front or rear fender wells, as they will be chrome fox shocks.

With all that money your dumping into lifting it up.. you could supercharge it and smoke everything!

Lift: 3000
Wheels&Tires: 2000
Super charger 5000

I know what I would do.....

Everybody is raising up up these days... why not leave it like it is and make it fast!

NOTE: YOu won't actually be able to smoke everything, but it sounds good.

Seems like everyone is dropping it. I too would like to know what are the differences in coilovers vs shocks. And if someone can answer me on how to get the shocks showing in the fender wells (seems like none of the major kits offer this), let me know. I'd hate to get it custom fabricated but I might have to. I would prefer to just have the rear as fox shocks, and the front as coilovers for better flex/travel.

And by the way, I am thinking of supercharging it when the Whipple comes out, I'm on the waiting list like everyone else. We'll see though, I might just go with the roush kit for 4k.

Dude LOLOL - everyone with a procomp kit take a look at those parts. that is NOT for a 2004 F-150 lol

The front axle drop bracket has the logo "procomp" cut into it. Everyone with the kit knows that this isn't so on the F-150.

Also there are some wierd triangle shaped brackets in the pictures that are not for the f-150. Whoever gets this is going to very confused !

Since money obviously isn't a problem, might want to look at something like this. JD Fab

Unfortunately I don't weld, I need to pick that up. I would prefer a kit that shows the shocks, like the image below. If there are no kits available that allow this for 3500 or less, I'll just go with the procomp above.

The CST kit allows you to choose the shocks of your choice with or without external reservoirs like the King shock above. I would personally do either King, Fox, or Sway-a-way.

Is this previously posted kit a good buy or are the parts he listed more expensive than he's saying. I will go ahead and purchase this if it's the correct kit.

Is there any truth to kelmvor's post, I need to know asap before the auction ends.

Also, seems like he's lied about the Rancho 9000's, not too sure but the cheapest I've seen them for the F150 is around $100/piece, so he's probably lying about the $90 missing part as well. Lastly, seems like the kit is missing the two circle spacers/blocks or whatever they are in this kit. Do the kits seem identical to you with the exception of what he listed is missing?

I don't think that is a kit for our trucks. The stearing knuckels look different and there is some random triangle thing in the pics. Just spend the extrs $$$ and buy a new fabtech.
