A Pillar Trim Removal

Hey all,
Have a quick question. I have a dual gauge pod, and i need to know how to get the a-pillar trim off without messing it up. I have an 04 FX4 with the handle, and it will stay with the short pod. Any help is appreciated
Jason

use a flat head screw driver and pop out the screw covers on either side of the handle and then unscrew the 2 screws in those holes.

You have to manuever the handle piece to get it out and back in, tilt it out at the top and then pull it so the bottom comes out.

I had to play with it the first time since it felt like I was going to break something.

I just removed by A-Pillar trim on my 05 on the left side. The bottom of the trim does not fit back inside on the bottom and is raised up a little, if that makes sense. Is there is clip or anything on the bottom of it where the tabs fit into the slot to make it fit correctly?

Thanks!
Dave

wiggle it and work with it, it will eventually go back like it was. Make sure you angled the bottem end in first.
