Thanks Todd
yes about 5 or 6 times, the last time it would start up and quit then the engine light came on, went straight to my dealer and they checked the codes. 4 codes came up and they only knew what one of them was. they called tech line and they told them to check for a bare spot in the wiring harness to the throttle body. they could not find anything and changed the throttle and it has been fine now, for about a month now.
Hey vegas(i'm in vegas too) what did the dealer tell you, or they havent yet. Mines doin it too, it did it to the techs at ford country this morning while they were changing the oil so they set up an appt. for tommorrow morning to check it out. And by the way was that your screw at ford country with the scuba plate on the front.
Yes that happens to me on occasion, does it spuratically, of course never when i take it to the dealer. I did have the service dept. check on it, they could not find anything wrong. One reason is the yellow wrench light does not come on when it happens.
I have to put it in park, turn the key off and restart the truck, then everything is fine until the next time.

Mine did the same thing took it in and they couldnt repeat it so they reflashed it. its been good for about a 3 weeks and now its back so I have to make another appt to go have them look at it
Hey Vegas is this what yours does
its starts just fine all the time it just that about 2 times a week. I will be starting the truck up let it sit for a min or two and start driving and within the first 10 min it will just stall out and die. Its happens in all types of weather but its only when I first start up the truck in the morning or when the truck has been sitting for about 8 hours. everytime it happen its when I am at a stop light or backing out my driveway. It fells like I am driving a standard, when I take my foot off the brake at a light and let it idle forward the RPM drop and the truck dies?

As far as how often ...it happens almost everytime I go to stop for a light or slowdown to make a turn ( and with no PS it can be a B**ch ) . It does it wether or not the truck is cold or hot , still havent heard anything from the dealer as of yet but I will let everyone know what I hear ...
