I have 2004 FX4 and it will not go into 4 Lo for some reason put it in nuetral it goes to 4 Hi every time but wont go any further. The other day when I first noticed after several tries it wouldnt go then after I had turn the truck off and finished what I was doing after restarting put it back into nuetral for some reason it went to 4Lo then today trying it again it never would go, the light never comes on or anything. Anyone else had this problem.

 

Make sure you have you're foot on the brake pedal

 

No problems here. I would say take it to the stealer...

 

Like Redrider said.... try it with your foot on the brake.
